Bio of Darian Gerrod Delk (October 5, 1989 – July 18, 2009)

Darian Gerrod Delk, affectionately known as Darey, was born on October 5, 1989. He was a vibrant young man, full of life and promise, who brought joy and light to everyone who knew him. Tragically, his life was cut short on July 18, 2009, at the age of 19.

On that fateful day, Darian was at a block party with four of his friends, enjoying the summer evening. As he sat in a car, speaking on his cell phone, a sudden fight broke out nearby. In the chaos that followed, the driver of the car was shot upon entering the vehicle to drive away. Darian, sitting beside him, was also struck by gunfire, while the two friends in the back seat were unharmed.

In his final moments, Darian managed to exit the car and desperately sought help, but, heartbreakingly, none was forthcoming. He collapsed and passed away on the streets, leaving a void that can never be filled in his loved one hearts.

To honor his memory, a memorial tumbler has been created in remembrance of Darey by his Mom of Jackie's Imprint. It serves as a tribute to his life and a reminder of the love and joy he brought to those around him. Darian's spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, and through this memorial, his legacy endures. Respectfully ......
